About This Course

This 20-hour workshop, led by Lori Gill, focuses on the practical application of the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)®. Over three days, participants will engage in didactic lectures, live or pre-recorded demonstrations, and hands-on practice to deepen their understanding and skills in trauma processing. The course includes supervised small group practicums, a complete protocol and training manual, and supplementary resources. This training is designed to build upon core concepts introduced in previous ITATM training and offers participants the opportunity to apply these techniques both as therapists and clients.

Topics of focus will include:
  • Day 1: Foundations and Techniques - Introduction to trauma processing practices using ITATM®, including assessment, grounding, trauma processing, and somatic techniques. Participants will engage in live demonstrations and practice sessions.
  • Days 2 & 3: Applied Practice and Experiential Learning -
In-depth exploration of ITATM® techniques through experiential activities. Participants will practice trauma processing, affect regulation, and session closure in a partner format with facilitator guidance. Topics include working through recurrent traumas, complex PTSD, and dissociation.
  • Advanced Techniques and Integration - Strategies for managing trauma-specific processing, including disrupting fear responses, reframing amygdala messages, and ensuring safe session closures. Emphasis on applying ITATM® to developmental trauma, crisis experiences, and integration.
This foundational training equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to address trauma and attachment issues, setting the stage for advanced study and professional development in this critical area of mental health care.

Advance registration is required, limited spaces available to ensure individualized attention.  Although uncommon ATTCH reserves the right to change the format or reschedule based on enrolment.
