About This Course

Day 1: Foundations of Trauma and Attachment
Explore the core principles of trauma and attachment, focusing on how these shape client behaviours, emotions, and relationships. Gain a foundational understanding of trauma responses, attachment styles, and the neurobiology of healing. Learn key concepts of the Certified Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC) training to enhance your clinical expertise.

Day 2: Phase-Based Tools for Healing and Integration
Dive into practical, phase-based approaches to address trauma and attachment dysregulation. Discover tools to promote emotional regulation, safety, and client empowerment. Develop skills to facilitate trauma integration and attachment repair using evidence-informed techniques.

Topics of focus will include:

Days 3-5: Introduction to trauma processing using the step-by-step ITATM™ protocol. Participants will engage in live demonstrations and personal practice sessions.

Featuring Lead Trainer: Lori Gill, MACP, RP, CTIC

Lori Gill is the Founder and Clinical Director at the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH) and Lori Gill Psychotherapy. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS), and a Trainer and Consultant Supervisor for STARR Commonwealth. With over 18 years of experience, Lori has worked in various settings, helping children, youth, and adults with trauma, attachment, mental health, and more.

Lori developed the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)®, which integrates multiple modalities like sensory processing, somatics, CBT, and bilateral stimulation to regulate the body, brain, and mind. She is recognized for her contributions to the trauma field, including receiving an Award of Excellence in 2014. Lori also provides consultation, supervision, and wellness therapy to prevent compassion fatigue.
