This 10-week course explores the neurological, physiological, and behavioral impacts of trauma and attachment. This course looks at wellness approaches that combine insights from scripture and science, recognizing God as the ultimate architect. The course will teach techniques to stimulate the brain for better integration and healing. Using a culmination of scripture, research, reflection, and practical exercises, we'll aim to engage the mind, emotions, and body to deepen integration and connection with God.

About This Course


This course explores the neurological, physiological, and behavioral impacts of trauma and attachment, integrating insights from both scripture and science. Participants will learn cutting-edge wellness approaches designed to promote healing and integration, with an emphasis on bilaterally stimulating the brain to enhance emotional and cognitive resilience. Through a blend of research, scripture, and practical exercises, this course aims to deepen participants' understanding of trauma, promote integration, and strengthen their relationship with God as the ultimate architect.


Topics of focus will include: 
  • Understanding the Brain-Body-Nervous System -  Exploring how these systems interact and respond to trauma.
  • Impacts of Trauma and Life Stressors - Examining the effects of trauma and stress on overall well-being.
  • Healing Attachment Wounds - Strategies for repairing and strengthening attachment relationships.
  • Utilizing the Heart, Body, and Mind as Resources - Techniques for emotional resilience, physical healing, and cognitive management.
  • Integrating Spiritual and Scientific Approaches - Bridging scripture and science to enhance understanding and promote wellness.
  • Re-storying and Embracing Your True Self - Reflecting on experiences, setting future goals, and embracing one's identity as God’s beloved child.

As the Founder of the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH), she integrates multiple modalities to regulate the body, brain, and mind simultaneously through her innovative approach, the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM).

Meet the Instructor

Featuring Lead Trainer: Lori Gill, MACP, RP, CTIC

Lori Gill is the Founder and Clinical Director at the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH) and Lori Gill Psychotherapy. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS), and a Trainer and Consultant Supervisor for STARR Commonwealth. With over 18 years of experience, Lori has worked in various settings, helping children, youth, and adults with trauma, attachment, mental health, and more.

Lori developed the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)®, which integrates multiple modalities like sensory processing, somatics, CBT, and bilateral stimulation to regulate the body, brain, and mind. She is recognized for her contributions to the trauma field, including receiving an Award of Excellence in 2014. Lori also provides consultation, supervision, and wellness therapy to prevent compassion fatigue.
